Job Summary
Disa Maintenance Technician needed to install, maintain, and adjust equipment in the Disa department, troubleshoot to diagnose problems, assist in planning major work projects, and repair simple electrical equipment (switches, receptacles, motors, simple conduit). Requires strong mechanical background and electrical aptitude, reading blueprints to locate parts, building jigs/fixtures, repairing piping systems, and using tools such as lathes, milling machines, and drill presses. Role includes performing preventive maintenance, repairing machinery, and supporting electricians/engineers on more complex tasks; ideal candidate will have PLC troubleshooting, CNC knowledge, hydraulic/pneumatic systems, motor controls, and a willingness to use soldering/welding as needed. Minimum one to three years’ experience in industrial maintenance with a high school diploma/GED; physical capacity for lifting up to 75 pounds and working in a loud environment. This full-time, union hourly position is located in Zanesville, OH with shifts including 2nd and 3rd.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1-3 years experience in industrial maintenance or related field
- Experience using precision measuring instruments
- Basic computer skills
- Knowledge of PLC Troubleshooting
- Knowledge of CNC equipment
- Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic systems and equipment
- Knowledge of motor controls
- Soldering and/or welding is a plus
