Job Summary
Lead daily manufacturing and logistics operations within the facility to meet production schedules and shipping commitments safely and efficiently; drive accountability for safety, quality, productivity, and schedule performance across operational teams; coordinate with Project Management, Engineering & Design, Supply Chain, and Quality to support production execution and customer delivery requirements; assist in resolving operational bottlenecks, production delays, material constraints, and workflow challenges; lead, coach, and develop Production and Logistics leadership teams; promote a positive and accountable team culture; support employee development and performance management initiatives; partner with HR/Talent teams on staffing and workforce planning; reinforce company values, safety expectations, and operational standards throughout the facility; champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements; monitor operational KPIs and drive continuous improvement initiatives to improve throughput; support Lean Manufacturing and process improvement initiatives across Production and Logistics functions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Industrial Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field preferred
- Minimum 7-10 years of experience in manufacturing, production, logistics, or industrial operations environments
- Minimum 3-5 years of leadership experience managing production, manufacturing, or logistics teams
- Experience in heavy manufacturing, steel fabrication, modular construction, or substation/power delivery industries preferred
- Experience leading teams in fast-paced, project-driven manufacturing environments preferred
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, and logistics coordination
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and operational efficiency practices
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive operational accountability
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong leadership and team development abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to build relationships across departments and operational teams
