Job Summary
Directly provides administrative and logistical support to the wrestling program and coaching staff, managing travel, meals, and both on-campus and off-campus recruiting. Coordinates logistics for camps/clinics, oversees budget and Nike gear, supports compliance processes, and collaborates with Strategic Communications to develop social media content and campaigns to engage audiences across platforms. Works with Head Coach and Athletics staff to ensure cadet-athletes have an outstanding experience at USMA, including travel itineraries, official/unofficial visits, and related operations. Responsible for calendar coordination, recruiting visits, and cross-department communication to align with USMA/AWPAA goals.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year accredited institution.
- 2-3 years’ experience working full-time at a NCAA institution, professional sports organization, and/or other elite sporting institutions (e.g. USOC, etc.).
- Experience in administrative leadership, decision-making, management, and supervision.
- Previous leadership role in a nationally recognized athletic department.
- Demonstrate good judgment and the ability to respond quickly and deal successfully under pressure and in a very open and public environment.
- Leads by example with high personal expectations, character, and appropriate advocacy for the department.
- Ability to Build and Maintain Relationships.
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills.
- The ability to work evenings and weekends.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States of America, without sponsorship.
- Must be eligible to work on a military installation, including a willingness to submit to a background screen.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
