Job Summary
Director, Workplace Experience & Real Estate leads Suno’s real estate strategy and workplace footprint across multiple offices, owning end-to-end office sourcing, lease negotiation, build-outs, and launch processes. The role oversees day-to-day operations, safety, and employee experience while partnering with IT, Security, Finance, Legal, Communications, and Brand teams to ensure cohesive workplace programs, standards, and brand alignment. Responsibilities include occupancy planning, vendor management, budget ownership, crisis response planning, and scalable playbooks for office launches and multi-site operations; based in New York City or Cambridge with regular travel between offices.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities, real estate, or related operational leadership roles
- Experience leading workplace strategy and office operations within high-growth or multi-site organizations
- Proven track record managing office expansions, build-outs, and vendor ecosystems across multiple regions
- Strong people management experience, including leading distributed or multi-site teams
- Experience partnering with Internal Communications, Employer Branding, or Employee Experience teams to deliver cohesive workplace programming and communications
- Experience developing workplace safety procedures, incident response plans, and operational continuity protocols
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives simultaneously
- Experience managing budgets, contracts, and operational planning at scale
- Ability to travel regularly between Suno office locations
