Job Summary
Provide executive-level leadership for women's and children's services, overseeing operations across labor and delivery, antepartum, NICU, and maternal health units. Ensure delivery of safe, evidence-based, high-quality patient care while managing budgets, staffing, and resource allocation for assigned service lines. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize outcomes, lead quality improvement initiatives, and support recruitment and retention of nursing staff. Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards within a 340+ bed facility supporting approximately 3,500 annual births. This role reports to the Associate Chief Nursing Officer and requires a BSN with at least five years of recent leadership experience in a high-acuity setting.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of recent leadership experience as a manager or director in Women's Services (within the last year)
- Experience in a high-acuity facility with at least 3,500 annual births
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- Current Registered Nurse license in applicable state(s) or active compact RN license
- Ability to obtain and maintain BCLS certification
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
