Job Summary
Directs operations of the inpatient Labor and Delivery units and collaborates with executive leadership and medical directors to transform delivery of clinical care for Labor and Delivery. Develops a seamless care delivery system and innovative care models to improve quality outcomes, reduce unnecessary clinical variation, and enhance coordination across the continuum. Oversees initiatives aligned with quadruple aim and drives a patient-centered experience through collaboration with campus leadership and support services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Master's Degree in Nursing, MHA, MBA
- Washington Registered Nurse License
- Certification in Nursing Leadership within 2 years of hire
- 5 years Progressive management experience in healthcare, preferably with an in-depth knowledge specific to clinical service area
- Experience leading teams, group facilitation, process improvement, and managing projects
- Experience working in a unionized environment
