Director, Warehouse Sourcing and Shipping Materials

Job Summary
Develop and execute the North American warehouse strategy by evaluating network capacity, inventory positioning, and cost performance while leading sourcing initiatives including RFIs, RFQs, RFPs, and contract negotiations. Manage leased and third-party warehouse operations to optimize utilization and service, partnering with Corporate Real Estate, Logistics, and Finance teams to determine cost-effective solutions. Oversee reusable packaging material management, asset optimization, and the Preston Sort and Repair operation to reduce total system costs and improve asset availability. Collaborate across Supply Chain, Operations, and Commercial functions to align warehousing resources with business requirements and drive continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business, finance, or a related discipline
- Minimum eight years of progressive experience in logistics, transportation, warehousing, procurement, strategic sourcing, supply chain, or related business functions
- Demonstrated success leading cross-functional projects, implementing change, and influencing stakeholders across multiple functions and organizational levels
- Strong negotiation skills with experience managing commercial contracts, supplier relationships, and sourcing initiatives
- Understanding of manufacturing and supply chain operations within a complex operating environment
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to analyze costs, budgets, business cases, and operational performance metrics
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel approximately 25–35%
