Director/VP, Credit Department (Financial Institutions)

Conduct fundamental credit analyses on banks and non-bank counterparties while providing continuous credit monitoring of the assigned portfolio to ensure accuracy of risk ratings. Evaluate derivatives and securities financing transactions across the client base to mitigate risk, and prepare credit recommendation executive summaries detailing basis, key risks, and mitigants. Work with stakeholders to develop the CCR framework, maintain open relationships through due diligence meetings, and prepare periodic portfolio reports. Apply 10+ years of relevant credit risk experience, including derivatives and securities financing transaction knowledge, within a fast-paced Tokyo-based environment.
