Job Summary
Director of Veterans Success and Military-Connected Student Services provides strategic leadership and oversight for programs serving student veterans and military-connected students at Texas A&M University–Victoria; serves as the University’s principal authority on veteran and military-connected student success, policy, and regulatory compliance; leads planning, implementation, and assessment of services to promote access, engagement, retention, and degree completion; oversees enrollment certifications, benefit processing, and compliance with VA and state policies; collaborates with Advising, Financial Aid, Counseling, Disability Services, Health Services, Career Services, and academic units to coordinate support; responsible for long-range staffing, budget, and resource expansion; requires VA School Certifying Official certification and may involve budget and program development tasks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from a regionally accredited institution.
- Progressive experience in veteran services, student affairs, or higher education administration, including a minimum of two years of supervisory or leadership experience.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, policy implementation, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to obtain and maintain VA School Certifying Official certification.
