Job Summary
Lead the vertical risk management function for Card Data & Platforms, including data management, data products, and platform controls. Validate risk processes impacting the company's bottom line and consult with executives to determine interaction models with lines of business. Finalize the risk category and subcategory framework while performing critical assessments to mitigate risk and drive process excellence. Conduct extensive gap assessments, create recommendations for smart business decisions, and lead large-scale process management and governance initiatives. Manage departmental process execution and collaborate with dynamic teams to ensure organizational change.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Military experience
- At least 7 years of experience working in risk management in financial services or technology
- At least 5 years of program management experience
- At least 5 years of experience supporting, partnering and interacting with internal business clients
- At least 5 years of people management experience
- At least 3 years of experience in reporting and analyzing data
- At least 2 years of data risk management or data product management experience
Desired Qualifications
- Masters Degree
- 7+ years of Financial Services or Technology risk management experience
- 7+ years of experience in Project or Process Management
- 5+ years of internal strategy or management consulting experience leading cross functional financial services projects and programs
- 7+ years of people management experience
- 5+ years of experience in reporting and analyzing data
- 3+ years of experience in data risk management or data product management experience
