Job Summary
Director, Value Communications at HEOR leading value communications and medical writing activities. Shape strategy, drive business growth, manage proposals and client partnerships, and oversee end-to-end delivery. Lead and mentor a high-performing writing/value communications team, collaborate with the creative director to bring scientific storytelling to life, and ensure high-quality, evidence-based outputs across programs.
Required Qualifications
- Extensive experience delivering value communication and medical writing materials with scientific rigor
- Proven experience leading medical writing/value communication teams in a consultancy or commercial research environment
- Strong commercial acumen including P&L responsibility and pipeline management
- Track record of winning business, developing proposals, and building trusted client relationships
- Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on delivery oversight
- Confident leadership style with the ability to mentor and guide diverse technical team
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
- Higher degree (or equivalent experience) in a relevant technical discipline
- Understanding of market dynamics, client needs, and industry trends
