Job Summary
Lead and execute research on the Product Research and Consumer Insights team to define the future of Peacock's product experiences. Own the research roadmap, consulting cross-functional partners on method selection and driving unmoderated prototype tests, lab studies, and surveys across the product lifecycle. Manage complex schedules for multiple projects while setting standards for methodological rigor and crafting reports that surface insights to influence strategic roadmaps. Mentor other researchers, leverage AI-enabled tools to streamline workflows, and manage vendor relationships with external agencies. Reporting to the Senior Director of User Research and Consumer Insights, this role collaborates with teams across Commerce, Viewing Product, Design, and Product Marketing. The position requires a hybrid schedule of at least four days in-office and is eligible for company-sponsored benefits including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in consumer product research or consumer insights
- Expertise in designing, executing, and analyzing a wide range of qualitative and quantitative methodologies (e.g., in-depth interviews, surveys, prototype tests, card sorts, diary studies, focus groups, correlation analyses, etc.)
- Demonstrated success using data and insights to influence business decisions and drive strategic product value via stakeholder influence
- Balancing ownership of multiple projects simultaneously while leading broader initiatives
- Excellent at digging into data to identify insights beyond what's visible on the surface and connecting findings back to underlying questions
- Familiarity with behavioral data analytics and working with data science and analytics teams
- Experience adapting research methodologies for business measurement and reporting purposes
- The ability to deftly combine insights across research efforts and behavioral data insights
- Experience leading collaborative efforts across disciplines
- Exceptional presentation and storytelling skills
