Job Summary
Director, UX Design at Arctic Wolf leading a high-performing UX team across the XDR platform, partnering with Product and Engineering to influence roadmaps, driving measurable impact on adoption and usability, and advancing AI-enabled design workflows. Responsibilities include setting UX strategy aligned to product vision, defining operating models for globally distributed teams (NA and India), coaching senior designers and researchers, ensuring alignment with business outcomes, and establishing best practices for AI-enhanced user experiences. The role emphasizes strategic partnership with executives, governance for scalable UX processes, and building a strong, growth-oriented UX team. The candidate will lead design systems, information architecture, and cross-touchpoint UX excellence, while driving cohesion across global teams and leveraging AI tooling to accelerate design iterations.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in UX design
- at least 5 years in a leadership or management role
- proven experience leading and scaling UX teams in complex SaaS environments
- demonstrated ability to influence product strategy and drive cross-functional alignment
- experience working with globally distributed teams
- strong understanding of UX research methods and how to operationalize research at scale
- experience designing for complex systems and workflows across web-based platforms
- familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
- experience leveraging AI tools to accelerate design workflows and improve outcomes
- strong communication and storytelling skills, including executive-level presentations
- ability to build research capability and scalable UX practices
- ability to lead adoption of AI-enabled workflows and rapid prototyping
