Job Summary
Develop and manage Hansa Biopharma's US trade and distribution operations to support patient access while maintaining financial control. Design channel strategy, oversee distribution networks, and administer gross-to-net economics and chargebacks. Negotiate supply contracts with government and commercial entities, monitor KPIs, and manage PO processes. Lead vendor governance for 3PLs and distributors, optimize inventory levels, and drive demand forecasting with cross-functional teams. Ensure compliance with DSCSA, participate in audit readiness, and lead corrective actions for non-compliance issues. This senior individual contributor role reports to the VP Supply Chain, requires daily commuting distance from NYC on a hybrid schedule, and involves approximately 20% domestic and international travel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university
- 10 years of US pharmaceutical supply and distribution experience including experience supporting a US product launch, preferably in hospital, transplant, nephrology or orphan
- Vendor relationship management and governance experience, preferably with 3PLs/SDs and CMOs
- 3PL budget management experience
- ERP system experience essential
- Strong working knowledge of other IT systems (e.g. Contract Management Systems, Sharepoint, Travel & Expenses systems)
- Knowledge and experience with Tracelink and DSCSA legislation
- Ability to interact with all levels of the organization including C-suite, CEO and Board of Directors
- Ability to manage multiple, sometimes conflicting priorities, in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally as needed, approximately 20%
- Must be within daily commuting distance of NYC
- Must work from the office on a hybrid schedule

- Experience from a smaller international biotech company is preferred
