Job Summary

Establish research objectives, set underwriting practice standards, and lead large initiatives to ensure methodologies align with business and strategic goals. Direct multi-line underwriting teams by translating strategic plans into organizational direction, managing performance measurements, and overseeing budgeting, reporting, and hiring. Proactively identify issues to recommend profitable growth, consult on underwriting policy with internal and external partners, and develop training for associates and stakeholders. Manage escalated issues, coach leaders, and ensure compliance with legal requirements while driving customer service performance and continuous improvement.
