Job Summary
Supervise Rapid Rehousing and Transitional Housing teams while managing residential and case management needs for domestic violence survivors. Conduct psychosocial intakes, establish goal plans, and monitor progress for new clients. Provide crisis de-escalation and on-call support, then coach clients on personal growth, parenting skills, and independent living abilities like budgeting and meal planning. Meet with residents weekly or bi-weekly to assist with housing searches, court appearances, and community service sign-ups. Perform advocacy work for legal, medical, and welfare needs while ensuring compliance with HUD requirements. Maintain strict confidentiality and adhere to professional boundaries throughout all interactions.
Required Qualifications
- Master's in Human Services
- Minimum one (1) year of intensive case management experience
- Must have a car and valid driver's license
- Must be a motivated self-starter capable of working independently
- Strong initiative, good communication skills
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and use standard office equipment for extended periods
- Ability to lift and move office supplies and donations weighing up to 20 pounds
- Ability to perform repetitive keyboard and hand movements
- Availability to work weekends and some evenings as per the program needs
