Job Summary
Lead development and management of strategic partnerships with pharmaceutical manufacturers, wholesalers, GPOs, and distribution partners to drive growth, profitability, and patient access. Oversee contracting strategy, manufacturer access, and limited distribution network participation, while ensuring regulatory compliance and alignment with organizational goals. Drive negotiations for complex contracts, manage trade agreements, pricing, rebates, and distribution terms, and analyze market trends, revenues, and margins. Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, payer relations, clinical, legal, compliance, and pharmacy operations to forecast revenue, manage trade spend, and optimize inventory and trade performance. Bring deep knowledge of specialty pharmacy operations, manufacturer programs, and therapeutic areas (e.g., immunology, neurology, rare disease) and demonstrate strategic leadership, stakeholder influence, and data-driven decision making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, pharmacy, finance, or related field required
- Minimum five (5) years of experience in specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical trade relations, account management, or healthcare contracting
- Experience with pharmaceutical manufacturers and limited distribution networks preferred
- Proven success negotiating contracts and managing strategic partnerships
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and related software systems
