Job Summary
Directs strategy, governance, and execution of the global trade compliance program; leads ECCN/HTS classification, export licensing, license management, and denied party screening; oversees government inquiries, audits, and investigations; advises legal partners and executive leadership on licensing strategy and regulatory exposure; leads internal audits and remediation; implements metrics to measure program effectiveness; manages relationships with customs brokers, external counsel, and regulatory agencies; builds and develops a global trade compliance team with clear roles and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience in global trade compliance, including leadership responsibility
- Deep expertise in EAR, ITAR, OFAC, U.S. Customs, and international trade regulations
- Experience building and scaling compliance programs in a global, technology-driven environment
- Proven leadership and cross-functional influence at the senior level
- Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP) and compliance automation tools
- Strong strategic thinking, executive communication, and risk judgment skills
