Job Summary

Oversee all aspects of the Early Childhood Program, including coordinating outreach, referral, and screening processes while providing direction to teachers on curriculum and activities. Provide supervision, training, and evaluation of staff through classroom observations and strategic planning to ensure a positive learning environment. Serve as the daily representative to parents, children, and staff, delivering high-level customer service and making referrals for additional services with Early Intervention Specialists. Ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and funders by maintaining accurate records and documentation. Monitor the program budget for supplies, equipment, and materials. This role supports HELP USA's mission to help at-risk populations build better lives through quality childcare for infants through age 5.

Required Qualifications

  • Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or a similar/related field
  • NY State Teacher Certification in Early Childhood Education or Childhood Education
  • All courses required under Health Code Article 47.13 c 1 and 2
  • Teaching experience at the infant, toddler, and/or preschool levels
  • Computer literacy, particularly with Microsoft Office applications
