Job Summary
Manage cross-functional technical and program alignment for your package by ensuring successful stakeholder interactions and resolving issues between RVT and VWG engineering leads. Own program execution strategy, including requirements governance, change-request processes, and resource allocation for limited hardware and test assets. Steer development by defining scope, conducting risk assessments, and prioritizing content to drive simplification and iterative delivery across the product development lifecycle. Act as the primary liaison to Volkswagen Group leadership, facilitating workshops and reporting technical status at board-level reviews to ensure timely delivery at cost.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in technical program management or engineering leadership delivering complex products that combine hardware and software
- 3+ years managing platform or subsystem-level programs
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across internal teams and external partners
- experience owning requirements governance and change-request/escalation processes as a primary technical point of contact between organizations
- Cross-domain engineering fluency across hardware, software, and systems integration
- ability to referee technical trade-offs and prioritization conflicts between engineering leads
- Track record delivering integration, validation, and software release cycles through a full product development lifecycle (concept to production/launch) for any kind of embedded system
- Proven ability to drive alignment and decisions in ambiguous, multi-stakeholder governance structures without direct authority
