Job Summary
Serve as the Technical Media Producer for live and pre-recorded productions, managing the station's five channels by airing live breaks, ingesting programming, and commercials. Operate the Media Control Center and Master Control Area using Ross Overdrive, Carbonite Ultra60 Softpanel Switcher, Caprica, TuningS/Panasonic PTZ Studio Cameras, and the ENPS Newsroom system. Work efficiently with little supervision under pressure, coordinating with other departments to meet daily demands and training new personnel as assigned. This full-time role requires a flexible schedule including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum commitment of 40 hours per week. A valid driver's license is required.
Required Qualifications
- Must be hard-working, self-motivated, and creative
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must have some television experience at least at the Production Assistant level
- Must have a preference for Directing and/or Master Control experience
- Basic working knowledge of PC's is necessary
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure
- Must have excellent communication skills
- Must hold a valid driver's license with a safe driving record
- Must be available to work a minimum schedule of 40 hours per week
- Require skill with Ross Overdrive
- Require skill with Ross Carbonite Ultra60 Softpanel Switcher
- Require skill with Ross Caprica
- Require skill with TuningS/Panasonic PTZ Studio Cameras
- Understanding of all equipment in the studio, production, and Master Control areas
Desired Qualifications
- Helpful but not necessary to have worked at least 2 years in the Television/IT industry
