Director, Technical Architecture – Oracle Cloud Fusion Integrations

Job Summary

Architect and optimize the systems and data landscape supporting end-to-end supply chain and finance processes. Establish reference architecture, standard frameworks, and best practices for cloud-based integrations and middleware. Lead design and implementation of integrations, extensions, SOAP and REST APIs, and data flows between Oracle Fusion ERP, CPQ, EPM, and legacy systems. Drive the Horizon Architecture Review Board, ensuring compliance with Oracle standards and performance benchmarks. Manage a development team accountable for enhancements, own DevOps practices for automated pipelines, and develop end-to-end data models connecting customer systems to the ERP. Partner with Finance, HR, Supply Chain, and business units to define new capabilities, while mentoring engineers and tracking enterprise architecture KPIs. This role supports Taylor Corporation's digital transformation initiative across its print and communications business units.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • 15+ years of experience in software engineering
  • at least 5 years in a senior leadership role
  • 5+ years of experience in an enterprise architect role
  • Proven expertise in ERP consolidations, implementations, and migrations within complex organizations
  • Strong knowledge of middleware platforms (e.g., Oracle Integration Cloud, WebMethods)
  • Experience with Microsoft application development tools
  • Experience with API design, microservices architecture, and cloud platforms
  • Experience with data migration, ETL tools, and security compliance frameworks
  • Experience managing multi-generational ERP platforms during transitions to target systems
  • Strong foundation in enterprise architecture methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • track record of managing cross-functional teams globally

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience in Oracle Fusion applications (ERP/SCM), CPQ, EPM, OIC tools, or similar platforms
  • Background in print manufacturing or related industries
  • Experience working within matrixed leadership structures or shared service environments
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
