Job Summary
Direct system-wide supply chain procurement by creating strategies, overseeing personnel, and managing the procure-to-pay process. Lead workgroups to establish standards, monitor compliance, and resolve shortages through collaboration with stakeholders. Manage construction projects, equipment sourcing, and capital budgets while driving cost savings and operational efficiency. Direct disaster preparedness activities and maintain ethical vendor relationships across all levels. Prepare and evaluate department budgets to ensure alignment with organizational goals and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- five years of aviation supply chain procurement, sourcing, and/or leadership experience
- Strong project management and process improvement skills
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written
- Analytical and critical thinking
- Effective decision making and problem-solving skills
- Must be able to work in fast-paced environment
- Requires frequent interactions with individuals at all levels
- Excellent organizational skills
- Position requires significant teamwork across the aviation field
- Personnel Management skills; must be able to work well and guide others
- Attends conferences for continued education and market intelligence
- Requires critical thinking skills, effective communication skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action
- The required skill in aviation operations is essential for understanding the unique challenges and requirements of the industry
- Strong analytical skills will be utilized daily to interpret supply chain data, identify trends, and develop strategies that drive performance improvements
- Leadership skills are crucial for managing and motivating a diverse team
- Excellent communication skills will facilitate collaboration with cross-functional teams

Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CSCP) or project management (e.g., PMP)
