Job Summary

Own the technical strategy, operating model, and performance of the S2 Technical Lead organization, evolving the function into a strategic, outcome-driven capability. Act as the primary strategic liaison between Security Services and Product/R&D, translating field insights into actionable input that drives roadmap enhancements and platform improvements. Hire, onboard, and develop a high-performing team of Technical Leads while establishing standards for assessing and mentoring Security Engineers. Define and track KPIs tied to customer outcomes, operational efficiency, and platform impact, ensuring strong alignment across Incident Response, cSOC, Concierge, and Tech Support functions. Drive continuous improvement in tooling and processes to maintain service quality while keeping the organization current on emerging security threats and industry trends.

Required Qualifications

  • At least five years of security consulting or security operations experience
  • Five or more years of experience leading Security Operations or a technical IC function within a global organization with Cloud and SaaS products
  • Proven track record of managing Detection and Response (D&R), CSIRT, Vulnerability Management, Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or Red Teaming teams
  • Prior experience managing other managers or senior ICs in a matrixed or project-based organizational model

Desired Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience leading and scaling a technical individual contributor (IC) organization within a global security services or managed detection and response environment
  • Strong understanding of security operations disciplines, including Concierge Security, cSOC, Incident Response, and Technical Support
  • Ability to design and evolve organizational models that balance project-based work, operational maintenance, and career development for senior ICs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; able to articulate complex technical and organizational concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong critical thinking, time management, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
  • Proven ability to lead through managers and peers, influencing without direct authority across cross-functional teams
  • Experience building performance frameworks and leveling structures for technically diverse IC teams
