Job Summary
Director on Coupang's Tech Infrastructure Security team to own and evolve the IAM platform, hire and lead the Security Infrastructure group, and drive strategy, roadmaps, and cross-functional execution across the organization. Responsibilities include building and maintaining authentication and authorization capabilities for the vendor/seller/shoppers ecosystem, aligning stakeholders on strategic roadmaps, driving architectural and operational excellence, and delivering large-scale security services for a complex distributed system stack. Key skills include leadership in security/infrastructure, IAM, cloud environments (AWS), distributed systems, Kubernetes, gRPC, Istio, and collaborative delivery of security-enabled services.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Math, or a closely related field
- 8 years of experience in backend software development
- Experience working in cloud environments, particularly AWS
- Demonstrated experience in building and maintaining highly available, distributed systems
