Job Summary
Lead the day-to-day management and evolution of the TD Securities Alumni Council by developing annual engagement plans, coordinating executive events, and maintaining a centralized relationship database. Serve as the primary contact for a curated network of former leaders and influencers, tracking their career progression to facilitate board placements and strategic introductions. Partner with Investment Banking and Corporate Banking teams to leverage alumni connectivity for business development and client engagement. Execute a long-term strategy that aligns with the enterprise alumni agenda while generating market intelligence for senior leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in investment banking, capital markets, corporate banking, executive relationship management, corporate strategy, board governance, or a related field
- Strong understanding of TD Securities, its businesses, senior leadership, and client franchise
- Experience working with senior executives, boards, investors, or governance organizations
- Proven track record building and managing senior-level relationships
- Exceptional relationship management and influencing skills
- Strong business judgment and executive presence
- Ability to engage credibly with CEOs, board directors, executive recruiters, investors, and senior business leaders
- Strong understanding of board governance, board recruitment, and executive networks
- Experience developing strategic initiatives and building operating models from the ground up
- Excellent written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Highly collaborative and politically astute
- Demonstrates discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
- Self-starter with the ability to operate independently in an evolving environment
- Strategic thinker with strong execution capabilities
- Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail
