Director - Tax Technology Consulting

Job Summary
Lead and manage project scope, tasks, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation for tax technology consulting while preparing and reviewing deliverables for client service. Oversee functional and technical direction of projects, including requirements analysis, process design, configuration, and installation of enterprise-class tax automation software. Provide technical leadership to the team and clients on project status, maintain existing partnerships, and assist with business development by preparing proposals and engagement agreements. Deliver mentorship, create project workplans, and enforce methodologies to ensure on-time, on-budget delivery of tax automation solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or Master's degree from a four-year college or university
- minimum of five to seven years of experience providing tax automation services
- Accounting, Tax, or Information Technology degrees
- Certified Public Accountant designation
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certified
- Understanding of Software development lifecycles
- Deep knowledge of the software solutions
- intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word
- intermediate knowledge of Access
- intermediate knowledge of Excel
- intermediate knowledge of PowerPoint
- intermediate knowledge of Visio
- intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Project
- intermediate knowledge of Outlook
- intermediate knowledge of Internet navigation and research
- Hands-on experience with transaction tax integration touch points with a major enterprise resource planning (ERP) system
- Valid driver's license
