Job Summary
Own the quarterly and annual U.S. income tax provision process (ASC 740), including tax account reconciliations, financial statement disclosures, and technical tax memos, and oversee the monthly close process. Lead U.S. federal and state tax planning to optimize the effective tax rate and cash position, while managing compliance for tax returns, estimated payments, and extensions. Forecast the U.S. income tax rate and cash taxes to support quarterly guidance, oversee transfer pricing compliance, and coordinate with international tax colleagues on cross-border planning and Pillar Two implications. Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and advisors, partner with cross-functional teams including Accounting, Finance, Legal, and Treasury, and manage, mentor, and develop the tax team. Monitor legislative developments and drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Tax, or a related field
- 14+ years of relevant tax experience
- High-tech industry experience in California

- Master's in Taxation
- CPA
- Time at a Big 4 accounting firm
- Significant in-house industry experience
- Prior people-management experience
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with OneSource tax software
