Job Summary
Director, Tax – Governance and Compliance leads a high-performance team responsible for regulatory compliance and advanced data analytics across SALT, merchandise contracts, royalties, and unclaimed property obligations. Oversees financial reporting and compliance across multiple jurisdictions, directs the use of SAP financial data and cloud-based platforms (BigQuery) to support reporting and analytics, and champions process improvements including AI-enabled tools. Partners with Tax, Merchandizing, Accounting, Legal, Audit, and Technology to communicate complex financial and regulatory topics to senior leadership. Leverages data platforms to improve accuracy, efficiency, and insight while maintaining strong internal controls and scalable processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field and 5 years’ experience in accounting, income tax compliance, payroll tax, or related area OR 7 years’ experience in accounting, income tax compliance, payroll tax, or related area.
- 3 years’ supervisory experience.
