Job Summary
Director, Talent (Head of Talent) at Hut 8 leads all talent strategy and programs across talent acquisition, management, and AI-enabled workforce solutions. The role builds systems, standards, and infrastructure to scale hiring decisions, designs performance management and promotion frameworks, leads leadership development and mentoring initiatives, and aligns talent decisions with business objectives. Key responsibilities include partnering with Finance and leaders to translate objectives into workforce plans, building a talent map, designing and implementing performance cycles (including goal-setting, feedback, calibration, and pay linkage) in Rippling, owning the Hut 8 Way for hiring, defining what an A-player looks like, developing the candidate value proposition, and guiding the talent acquisition team. Requires 10+ years in talent leadership or consulting, executive presence to influence senior leaders, a commercial mindset, and a proven ability to design scalable talent systems in a high-growth environment. Location: Miami (Brickell).
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in talent/people leadership roles or consulting
- experience across business strategy, program lifecycles, talent acquisition and/or talent development
- commercially minded with ability to translate strategy into workforce decisions
- talent development expertise with performance systems and promotion frameworks
- experience in high-growth environments
