Director, Talent Acquisition - Contract Position

Job Summary
Director, Talent Acquisition (Contract) leads development and execution of a comprehensive talent strategy to attract, identify, and hire top talent, partners with senior leadership on workforce planning, manages full-cycle recruitment across departments, leads the recruitment team (employees and contractors), collaborates with hiring managers to align goals and hiring plans, implements ATS optimization, and builds recruitment analytics to measure process efficacy. The role requires strong communication, vendor management, brand development through campaigns and events, and a data-driven approach to improving the candidate experience, all within Kardigan’s on-site, Princeton, NJ work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- At least 7+ years of proven recruitment experience in high-growth organizations with roles in technology or healthcare a plus
- Demonstrated ability to handle high-volume recruiting with a resourceful approach to engaging, assessing, and placing top talent
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, and ability to build relationships with all levels of the organization, talent pool, and vendor community
- Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service
- Demonstrated ability to use data to drive and influence decisions
- Advanced level of proficiency with Google Suite, Greenhouse (ATS) and HRIS
