Job Summary
Design, implement, and support complex integration solutions using middleware platforms like Boomi, MuleSoft, and Informatica while managing a team of integration engineers. Provide technical leadership to application owners, project managers, and vendors to drive organizational needs, review estimations, and deliver high-level project estimates for capital initiatives. Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business requirements into technical designs, establish coding standards, and maintain detailed systems documentation within a CI/CD model. Mentor team members, assess technical debt, and ensure sustainable, production-ready software delivery through Agile methodologies and rigorous testing practices.
Required Qualifications
- Substantial experience managing the development and support of the Integration project
- Strong experience in one or more integration tools such as Boomi, MuleSoft or other tools
- Experience working with application owners, project managers, architects, vendors and the leadership team to understand and drive organizational needs and project requirements
- Experience reviewing effort estimations deliverables
- Experience managing finances
- Experience managing a team of integration engineers
- Experience working with internal and external partners to design, develop, and make program and configuration changes
- Experience maintaining complex integration software working within the middleware and internal and external BI systems and systems integrations
- Leadership of the portfolio that owns the integration between applications
- Technical thought leadership on integration solutions
- Ability to identify opportunities to improve tools and approaches going forward
- Ability to provide high-level estimates for Integration work in support of project estimation (including capital projects)
- Subject matter expertise for primary interface engine (ex. Dell Boomi)
- Ability to mentor and coach Integration team members
- Ability to collaborate with end-users to understand requirements and design solutions
- Ability to evaluate options and develop the technical design
- Ability to work with development teams so that proper patterns/practices are used to deliver software solutions
- Ability to represent integration resources and demand in planning sessions with a keen eye on delivery
- Ability to perform analysis of customer and vendor requirements and create detailed technical design specifications for high complexity user interfaces/integrations
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business and functional requirements into technical solutions
- Ability to work with team and peers in DB&T to implement best practices procedures for technology and coding standards
- Ability to maintain detailed systems documentation, including user manuals and technical manuals
- Ability to modify, expand and update applications in a CI/CD model
- Ability to perform bug fixing, troubleshooting, and assisting in user support for existing applications
- Ability to assess Technical Debt and Priorities with the development teams and leads to make sure the solutions that are built are sustainable and are production-ready
- Proven ability to quickly understand client requirements and translate them into software developer requirements

- Bachelor's Degree, Concentration in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of development experience
- At least 3 years of Boomi experience
- Overall experience of 5+ years with other middleware or integration platforms preferably Dell Boomi, Informatica, Mulesoft, BizTalk, etc.
- Understanding of integration architecture options such as SoA and APIs
- Knowledge and experience of APIs, Web Services, ESB, SOA; building workflow/processes leveraging common frameworks
- Experience designing and developing SOAP and REST-based web service interfaces using XML, JSON
- Strong experience managing, deploying, supporting APIs
- Experience to design and implement small to large scale integration solutions adopting various technologies
- Experience maintaining and documenting all service contracts and promoting the optimal level of communications
- Experience delivering integrated solutions using Agile, Test/Model-Driven techniques
- Experience with SQL and relational database
- Experience with Agile/Scrum development
- Experience with Test Driven Development (Unit Testing)
- Certifications in Mulesoft or similar products
