Director, System Patient Safety

Execute the Assistant Vice President's system-wide patient safety strategy, standardizing processes and tools across all sites while establishing and monitoring performance goals. Provide oversight of event management workflows, ensuring timely review, classification, and closure of safety incidents through root cause analysis and trend identification. Serve as a primary resource for Patient Safety Managers, guiding complex investigations, validating competencies, and supporting team development. Partner with clinical and operational leaders to drive multidisciplinary safety initiatives, reduce harm in key domains, and ensure regulatory compliance for accreditation readiness. Promote a culture of psychological safety and high reliability to strengthen reporting and continuous learning systems.
