Job Summary
Director of System Contracting oversees and manages all aspects of CoxHealth’s System Contracting Department, including supervising contracting operations, coordinating with departments and vendors, reviewing, negotiating, and managing third-party contracts to obtain favorable terms and strengthen contract management across the organization. This role requires strong analytical abilities to assess complex contract terms and pricing structures, excellent communication and collaboration with multiple stakeholders, meticulous attention to accuracy in contract review and drafting, and proficiency with contract management software and Microsoft Office. A Bachelor’s degree is required, with preferred advanced degrees or JD; minimum of 5 years contracting or related experience is expected, with healthcare, IT, or supply chain exposure preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Legal Studies, or related field
- Minimum 5 years contracting or related experience
- Experience in contract negotiation and vendor management, preferably within healthcare
