Director, Support

Director, Support role focused on modernizing backend platforms and database systems for GoldCare under Perseus/Constellation Software. Responsibilities include modernizing legacy database structures, tooling, and operational practices; improving data models, documentation, and standards; managing and troubleshooting production database environments (MultiValue), monitoring performance and availability; supporting release activities; and applying AI-assisted tools to analyze database structures, queries, and data usage to identify optimization opportunities. Emphasis on learning through mentorship, handling both legacy and modern technologies, and contributing to long-term maintainability with strong governance and data protection practices. The position is entry-level friendly (0–2 years experience) with a clear path for growth, and follows a hybrid work structure with one in-office day per week in Waterloo, Ontario; the remainder can be remote or in-office based on task requirements or personal preferences.
