Job Summary
Director of Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing and Procurement leads enterprise-wide procurement, sourcing, contract compliance, supplier negotiations, and value optimization strategies. Provides strategic leadership for purchasing operations, supply chain clinical alignment, value analysis, cost containment initiatives, and supply disruption mitigation programs. Develops and executes procurement strategies to optimize total cost of ownership, improve service levels, strengthen supplier performance, reduce supply chain risk, and support clinically appropriate standardization across the health system. Requires experience with enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives, clinical integration, and healthcare operations collaboration; typical hours Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm with potential after-hours availability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Finance, Nursing, or related field required
- 8 years of progressive healthcare supply chain leadership experience including 5 years of leadership experience managing sourcing, procurement, purchasing, or contracting functions within a hospital or integrated health system
- Demonstrated experience leading enterprise-wide sourcing initiatives, complex supplier negotiations, value analysis, clinical integration, and healthcare operational collaboration
