Job Summary
Director, Supplier Quality leading the global Supplier Quality function with governance, performance management, and regulatory readiness. Responsibilities include developing and overseeing supplier quality programs across sites, supplier qualification and audits, SCARs and corrective actions, FSVP/FSVP-related compliance, statistics-driven performance metrics, and ensuring compliance with FDA regulations and industry standards. The role requires strategic leadership, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to travel up to 50% for supplier audits and qualifications. The position demands a Bachelor’s degree in a related field, 12+ years in quality/regulatory roles, 7+ years in supplier quality, and prior auditing experience. It also emphasizes strong data analytics, problem-solving, and communications skills, with fluency in English and the potential for advanced degrees or certifications as preferred. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences, chemistry, food science, engineering, or related field
- 12 years’ professional quality or regulatory experience within the food & beverage, dietary supplement, medical device, or pharmaceutical industry
- 10 years’ progressive leadership and management experience
- 7 years’ professional supplier quality experience
- Prior auditing experience
- Knowledge of FDA regulations (CFR, cGMP, GDP) and risk assessment tools (FMEA)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analytics
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to travel up to 50%
