Job Summary
Lead and develop a global team of quality engineers and professionals responsible for quality assurance across the supplier network; collaborate with engineering, product management, operations, and procurement to drive continuous improvement and ensure suppliers meet milestones throughout product development (DFMEA, PFMEA, control plans, run at rate, PPAP); develop and implement a supplier quality strategy with KPI-driven performance monitoring; drive containment, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for supplier-related issues; manage sub-tier supplier programs, warranty recovery efforts, and sustainability initiatives; deploy a Lean/Six Sigma operating system to drive cost reduction, productivity, and process optimization across global supply chain and digital functions; provide leadership, training, and coaching to Six Sigma practitioners; leverage data analytics (statistical methods, PowerBI/Tableau/Minitab) to identify opportunities and measure impact; influence senior leaders and collaborate across multiple functions to achieve transformational improvements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline (engineering) or equivalent experience
- 15+ years of experience in a supply chain manufacturing and supplier quality
- Mastery of Six Sigma concepts and tools (Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Root Cause Analysis, DMAIC)
- Lean Six Sigma training/credentials (Black Belt required; Master Black Belt preferred)
- Experience with supplier manufacturing, product and process quality; experience with ODMs preferred
- Experience operating in a lean production system (TPS or equivalent) with lean six sigma credentials
- Strong collaboration, interpersonal, and executive communication skills
- Experience developing and leading a Supplier Relationship Management program
- Project management experience across cross-functional teams
- Ability to lead and develop a global quality/continuous improvement team
