Job Summary
Director – Data Integration Subledgers role leading a team within the Data Engineering group to drive data integration, governance, and analytics across large data sets. Responsibilities include overseeing transformation pipelines from data sources to ERP platforms, guiding development of actionable data solutions, employing big data technologies (Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Snowflake, Databricks), communicating findings to senior leadership, and driving scalable analytic assets for global use. Requirements emphasize senior leadership experience, advanced analytical and programming skills, and domain knowledge of finance processes (Balance Sheet, P&L, Regulatory Reporting). The position is based in Toronto, Canada, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality data storytelling and strategic data integration initiatives for the bank.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field or extensive related work experience
- Minimum 7+ years of analytical experience
- Experience with data engineering tools and big data technologies (e.g., Hive/SQL/Spark/Python, Hadoop, Snowflake, Databricks)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead and mentor teams and manage multiple tasks
