Job Summary
Director for Strategy & Operations within Disney Entertainment and ESPN - Product & Technology. Lead a Strategy & Operations team serving as the analytical backbone and connective tissue for Product & Technology leadership; drive OKRs, performance measurement, and execution momentum; build and lead a ProdOps-like team across product areas; partner with Product, Engineering, and Data Science to surface insights, frame trade-offs, and guide decision-making for senior leadership; responsibilities include team building, goal setting, performance measurement, ongoing dashboards, and organizational storytelling. Requires deep analytics, data storytelling, and cross-functional collaboration with a focus on driving velocity and impact; proficient in SQL, Excel/Sheets, and BI tools (Tableau, Looker) and experience in defining and measuring OKRs/KPIs; BS/BA and MBA preferred; 12+ years in related roles; strong communication and leadership skills.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of experience in ProdOps, Strategy, or Analytics roles within top-tier Technology Companies, Start Ups, Management Consulting, and/or Professional Services firms
- BS/BA in Business, Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; MBA or comparable advanced degree preferred
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills; expertise in organizing complex data to create clear, concise narratives
- Strong spreadsheet (Excel, Google Sheets) and SQL skills
- Experience defining and measuring OKRs, KPIs, or other comparable success metrics
- Proactive “self-starter” with a passion for driving outcomes and a bias for action
- Proven ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously with high attention to detail, while also knowing when to zoom out and have executive-level discussions
- Team-oriented culture carrier with a proclivity towards cross-functional collaboration
- Embrace of dynamic, fast-paced, and matrixed organizations with significant executive visibility; comfortable influencing in the absence of direct control
- Strong written, presentation and oral communication skills; capable of developing high-level presentations for senior executive audiences
