Job Summary
Director, Strategy on Braven's Insights & Strategy team who will set and monitor overall strategic direction and lead strategic projects across the organization. Responsibilities include leading strategic initiatives and projects with executive leaders, establishing and tracking KPIs, building and maintaining dashboards for program and organizational health, facilitating leadership bodies (Central Leads and One Braven), and supporting multi-year planning. The role requires collaboration with the executive team, managing cross-functional teams and outside consultants, and delivering data-driven insights to inform decisions. Must have a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of experience, and strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets, SQL, and data visualization (Tableau preferred); experience in communicating data-driven stories to internal and external audiences is essential. Preferred qualifications include MBA and/or strategy consulting experience, plus proficiency with Google Suite, Slack, Jira, Salesforce, Python or R, and a proven ability to mentor and partner with stakeholders in a not-for-profit setting.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Fluency in Excel/Google Sheets and SQL
- Proficiency in designing and building dashboards and visualizations (Tableau preferred)
- Extensive experience writing and presenting data-driven stories, arguments, and narratives for internal and external audiences
