Job Summary
Director, Strategic Supply Chain Management is the global SCM focal point and primary interface for Celestica’s supply chain organization, responsible for Inventory, Supply Chain Continuity and Productivity for a defined segment. Leads/coordinates multiple support teams to execute flawless new product introductions, current production deliveries, and future improvements. Interfaces with customers to define and implement supply chain strategy, negotiates terms to meet business requirements and growth plans, and provides input on commodity strategies and BOM costing. Plays a leadership role across functions, supports quarterly business reviews with customers and senior management, guides supplier relationships, and ensures capacity and risk management. Requires extensive EMS manufacturing knowledge, strong cross-functional collaboration, and travel (25%-50%). Also oversees budgeting, planning, and performance targets (MPS, revenue, inventory) and mentors managers and staff.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Business or Engineering) or equivalent experience
- Minimum 12 years experience in SCM with at least 5 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of EMS manufacturing environment, materials and processes
- Proven experience in supplier management, contract negotiations, and cross-functional leadership
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and problem resolution skills
- Ability to travel 25%-50%
