Job Summary
Leads and coordinates strategic program management initiatives in a healthcare setting, partnering with executives and project teams to structure complex issues into phased workstreams and deliverables. Develops and presents business value propositions and plans to support strategic initiatives, manages agendas and detailed calendars, and serves as a conduit of information between the executive office and cross-functional teams. Designs communication strategies for major initiatives, supports proposals and briefs, and maintains strong analytical and organizational capabilities to drive project goals within scope and timelines. Requires deep knowledge of healthcare administration, program-management best practices, and the ability to work in a matrix-management environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office, Visio, and databases; PMP/Six Sigma/PROSCI credentials are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field (required)
- 4+ years of experience in management or equivalent with diverse teams, managing major events and projects, or leadership institute residency program graduate (required)
- 10+ management experience (preferred)
- Mentoring project managers (preferred)
- Strategic planning (preferred)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) (preferred)
- Six Sigma (preferred)
- Change Management Certification (PROSCI) (preferred)
- Experience with healthcare trends and legislation (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; Visio and databases (required)
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills (required)
- Ability to conduct primary and secondary research and synthesize data (required)
- Ability to design, structure, implement and oversee multiple projects and teams (required)
- Ability to identify opportunities and solve problems (required)
