Job Summary
Director, Strategic Pricing Systems, Tools & Enablement leads enterprise pricing transformation by building scalable pricing capabilities—governance, analytics, and tools—embedded across business units. Works with VP/GM stakeholders to drive value-based pricing, margin expansion, and price realization through governance, systems, and capabilities that scale across product lifecycles. Responsibilities include designing pricing frameworks, establishing price corridors and discounting discipline, selecting and evolving pricing systems (e.g., Pricefx, SAP), developing enterprise pricing analytics (WTP, elasticity, cost-to-serve, mix optimization), and building a pricing training curriculum while driving organizational change and cross-functional alignment across Marketing, Product, Sales, Finance, and Operations. Success metrics include sustained margin expansion, reduced price leakage, standardized governance, high adoption of pricing tools, and measurable pricing maturity. Physical requirements include regular computer-based work and standard office environment conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, economics, data science, or related field
- 10+ years of progressive experience across at least two of: Strategic Pricing / Revenue Management; Commercial or Product Strategy; Sales or Marketing Strategy; Commercial Finance or Analytics
- Proven track record of leading enterprise-wide initiatives and driving margin expansion
- Strong business acumen with financial and P&L impact orientation
- Advanced analytical capability with large datasets and BI tools
- Ability to influence senior leadership and translate strategy into execution
- Exceptional executive communication and storytelling skills
Desired Qualifications
- MBA or advanced degree (Economics, Analytics, Data Science preferred)
- Experience with pricing platforms (e.g., Pricefx), ERP (SAP), and analytics tools
- Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in highly matrixed environments
- Certified Pricing Professional (CPP) preferred
- Experience with SaaS and services monetization
- AI/ML applications in pricing
- Lean / Six Sigma methodologies
