Job Summary
Lead portfolio planning and product launch activities across multiple development programs while developing commercialization strategies and supporting products throughout the product lifecycle. Evaluate new market opportunities using competitive intelligence and commercial analytics to assess the commercial potential of pipeline assets and provide strategic recommendations to senior leadership. Monitor portfolio performance to identify areas of opportunity and potential business risk, partnering with R&D, Commercial, Finance, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Legal, and other cross-functional teams to support product planning and execution. Develop business cases, forecasts, and strategic analyses to support portfolio decisions, contribute to marketing strategy and launch readiness, and identify opportunities to improve processes, reporting, analytics, and operational efficiency. Ensure alignment with organizational priorities while managing multiple strategic initiatives simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Significant experience within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
- 5-7 years experience in portfolio management, commercial strategy, product planning, launch excellence, or related functions
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills
- Experience utilizing commercial data, market research, and competitive intelligence to support business decisions
- Excellent communication and executive presentation skills
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Demonstrated success managing multiple high-priority initiatives in a fast-paced environment
- Strong strategic thinking, business acumen, and problem-solving capabilities
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently
