Job Summary
Remote senior leadership role at Lever for Change focused on building and converting a high-quality donor-partner pipeline, expanding the Bold Solutions Network’s impact, and guiding cross-functional teams toward strategic fundraising and capital deployment goals. Lead a portfolio of donor relationships, develop compelling investment cases and engagement assets, coordinate with marketing and programs, and mentor a small team to drive scalable donor engagement, pipeline visibility, and data-driven decision making while traveling for donor cultivation and convenings.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree or equivalent; or demonstrated experience at the intersection of business development, capital mobilization, and social impact
- Minimum of seven years of fundraising, business development, or client relationship experience with a track record of building and converting a pipeline, growing a book of business, and delivering results
- Demonstrated track record of closing gifts or securing commitments of $1M or greater, with experience managing and converting relationships at the $5M–$25M+ level preferred
- Demonstrated ability to work with high-net-worth and ultra-high-net-worth clients in a consultative fashion
- Strong relationship-building, listening, and strategic advisory skills
- Outstanding critical thinking, analytical, and storytelling abilities for sophisticated audiences
- Broad intellectual curiosity across social change, global development, climate, etc.
- Experience managing and developing a small team
- Highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Comfortable operating within a matrixed organization and building internal relationships
- Willingness and ability to travel for donor cultivation, convenings, and meetings
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office; CRM tools experience (Salesforce, Airtable, Asana) preferred
