Job Summary
Director, Strategic Insights and Performance Management at Singtel leads a department within the Group Chief Corporate Office responsible for enterprise insight, performance management, and analytics across six functions. The role drives KPI governance, planning cycles (AOP/MTP), enterprise reporting standards, and analytics modernization (Databricks, Power BI, and AI-enabled tooling). It shapes strategic priorities, delivers board-ready papers and executive insights for GCCO, six function heads, and governance committees, andPartner with function heads to translate critical business questions into prioritized analytical agendas, synthesizing executive insights into actionable recommendations. The position requires directing enterprise analytics modernization, building a scalable analytics capability, and leading a small senior team in a matrixed environment to accelerate evidence-based decision making.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Economics, Finance, Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or related discipline
- 15+ years of progressive experience spanning strategy, performance management, executive advisory, and enterprise analytics
- at least 7 years at senior leadership level
- Demonstrated track record partnering with C-suite or group-level executives on enterprise decisions and board-facing work
- Proven experience leading small, leverage-oriented senior teams across strategy, performance management, insight, and analytics in a matrixed environment
- Enterprise performance management, AOP/MTP cycle leadership, and KPI governance at Group level
- Strategic insight generation and translation into recommendations for Corporate Management Committee, Group Management Committee, and Singtel Board Committees
- Leadership of Databricks (SQL) data assets, Power BI / enterprise BI platforms, and analytics modernization
- Senior committee engagement support including pre-meeting analysis, position papers, briefing packs, and post-meeting tracking
- Ability to write Board Committee-grade papers and present to senior governance bodies
- Strategic judgment and ability to translate ambiguity into actionable recommendations
- Stakeholder influence across Group functions and OpCos without heavy formal authority
- Enterprise leadership presence and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Strong people leadership for a small team leveraging cross-functional collaboration
- Willingness and ability to influence at the executive level
