Job Summary
Lead strategic growth in the Defense sector with a focus on ground mobility; prospect and expand Edge Case's customer base within US Army/Defense programs; deliver technical presentations, develop tailored proposals, and manage customer relationships from inception through program execution; collaborate with system safety engineers, product managers, and leadership to shape growth strategies; leverage deep DoD/Army procurement knowledge (FAR/ITAR) and contribute to product development by feeding customer feedback and market trends; travel to engage clients and attend conferences as needed; requires a technical or business degree and 5+ years of US DoD Capture/BD experience in Army environments; security clearance and authorized work in the United States are prerequisites.
Required Qualifications
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Bachelor’s or higher Degree in a technical or business-related field or equivalent experience
- 5 years of US DoD Capture and BD experience within the Army environment in sales of engineering services or software products
- Strong in-person and remote presentation skills
- Ability to relay technical information to non-technical customers
- Experience in developing value propositions for emerging technologies
- Experience leading and maintaining trust in a fast-growing startup
- Occasional travel to engage with clients, prospects, and to attend conferences
