Director, Strategic Finance, Contracting & Treasury Fortify (Contracting Specialist)

Job Summary
Develop and maintain annual and long-range financial plans adapting to market conditions in partnership with the outsourced accounting firm. Lead payor contracting strategy, including negotiation, performance oversight, and development of pediatric-appropriate value-based arrangements with existing and prospective partners. Oversee cash management, investment activities, and financial reporting to the Board while safeguarding organizational funds. Serve as a strategic advisor to executive leadership on staffing, vendor negotiations, and capital investments. Manage a team responsible for recruitment, hiring, performance appraisals, and disciplinary actions. Collaborate with leadership to align contracting strategies with organizational initiatives and capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Accounting, or another relevant field
- At least 8 years of progressive experience in a finance, planning, or analytics roles
- At least 4 years of managerial experience
- Exceptional knowledge of strategic financial planning
- Deep understanding of budgeting, accounting, and financial management principles
- Highly skilled in use of financial software, accounting software, and database management, and data visualization tools
- Excellent financial modeling and presentation skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Adaptability to dynamic circumstances
- Ability to manage a variety of stakeholders effectively
- Ability to collaborate with a wide range of individuals and groups
Desired Qualifications
- MBA, CFA, or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, or another relevant field
- Progressive experience working in a finance, planning, or analytics roles at a large health system
