Director, Strategic Business Planning

Job Summary
Champion organizational change, coordinate strategic business initiatives across functional groups, and facilitate project portfolio management in partnership with the PMO and IT teams. Manage interdependencies and critical path milestones while driving project intake, prioritization, discovery, and benefits realization analysis. Direct formal communication methods, establish program management methodologies, and hold teams accountable for meeting goals. Provide portfolio reporting, define catalog and implement program governance, and proactively resolve issues during large complex projects. Work in a hybrid environment (Tuesday through Thursday) with 10% travel to attend strategic planning sessions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a business related field or equivalent experience
- Ten years of strategic planning experience
- Five years managing complex multisystem and/or multiple department projects
- Experience utilizing interviewing/negotiation skills
- Experience coordinating and facilitating small and large group meetings
- Experience utilizing planning/organization skills and techniques
- Experience managing multiple priorities and project staff
- Experience utilizing analysis and problem solving skills
- Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization to guide in strategic planning fundamentals and plan execution
- Proficiency using MS Office
- Proficiency using project development/management tools
